Custom ATA case configured for a Codex Compact Drive workflow kit - two Compact Drive readers and ten Compact Drive media drives. Reader wells capture each unit at the chassis and USB-C connector with relief for the front media slot so drives can be inserted and ejected without lifting the reader. Drive wells are sized to the Compact Drive caddy with finger-relief at the eject-lever side for fast hot-swap during a DIT offload.

The pack-out makes the case the unit-of-work for a 1-cart DIT station - two readers running in parallel against ten daily media drives. Injection-molded shell — IP67 watertight and crushproof, with recessed latches and an automatic pressure-equalization valve.

Designed and CNC-cut at Innerspace Cases in North Hollywood. Call 818-767-3030 to add a power-strip and USB-C cable bay or to spec a paired SXR Capture Drive variant.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
